TechShortsApp Documentation

Official documentation for TechShortsApp — a research prototype by Niraj Chaurasiya. Not affiliated with similarly named consumer apps.

This documentation explains how the system reasons about credibility, uncertainty, and evidence. It does not explain how to grow, go viral, or maximize engagement.

Epistemic Axiom
Credibility is never directly observed — it is inferred probabilistically from available evidence by both humans and the systems they build.

Core Principles

Credibility > popularity

The system prioritizes confidence over reach.

Confidence is probabilistic, not absolute

All estimates include uncertainty bounds.

Uncertainty is shown, not hidden

Users see confidence intervals, not point estimates.

Succeeding wrong is worse than failing right

False confidence is more harmful than acknowledged uncertainty.

Intentionally incomplete

The system is under development and acknowledges its limitations.
