Introduction / What This System Refuses to Claim

What This System Refuses to Claim

Explicit boundaries of what this epistemic system will not assert

The most credible systems know their limits. Here's what we explicitly do not claim.

Objective Truth

This system does not claim to identify objectively "true" or "false" content. We estimate credibility based on available evidence, not absolute truth.

Perfect Accuracy

We do not claim our credibility estimates are perfectly accurate. All estimates include uncertainty, and we may be wrong in individual cases.

Complete Knowledge

We do not claim to know everything about a video's value. Our estimates are based on observable signals, which are necessarily incomplete.

Future Predictions

We do not claim to predict how a video's value will be perceived in the future. Credibility estimates are based on current evidence and may change.

User Preferences

We do not claim to know what individual users will find valuable. We estimate general credibility patterns, not personal preferences.

Why These Refusals Matter

By explicitly stating what we don't claim, we:

  • Prevent overconfidence in system outputs
  • Maintain appropriate epistemic humility
  • Set realistic user expectations
  • Create boundaries for responsible system use
